Good fortune smiled on the 97 Bristol to Bournemouth Car Run - it was a grand day. The sun was rising on a very still morning over the Bristol Harbour basin, reflections of boats on the mirror like water giving a mediterranean feel. A fine collection of Veteran and Vintage had entered. It was to be a day of fun and high spirits. The route led to Bath - the Royal Crescent and the Circus, via Bradford on Avon to Horningsham, Stourhead, Shaftesbury, across Cranborne Chase to Kingston Lacy House and finally to Bournemouth. It was a wonderful run.
