Opens with the transport by three Showman's engines of Arthur Thompson's famous Rodeo Switchback to Trarrant Hinton - a wonderful introduction to the countryside of the Great Dorset. Working and show tractors had a super year-some outstanding ploughing scenes. The Horse Section had probably it's finest year ever. The bridge across the Playpen allowed for some unique views onto the Heavy Haulage trains. A caliope - a steam organ - used on Missisippi boats can be seen and heard in the Fairgound; The special theme: Steam and Diesel made by Marshall's of Gainsborough.
