The National Steam Car Association hold their annual steam car tour in June each year and in 2010 toured the beautiful and scenic countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, one of the most beautiful areas of the UK.    

Not only is this a film of steam cars on tour, Stuart Gray takestime out to introduce us to the area as we travel to Kirkcudbright, ‘The Artist’s town’ and local fishing port, where in 1622 the first Scottish emigrants left for Novia Scotia. We travel into the Galloway Forest Park via loch Ken and then out to Kippford and along the stunning East Stewartary Coast to New Abbey, whilst introducing us to the delights and elegance of touring by steam
